Are ready for 2012? We are! In addition to the expansion of the Colfax computrainer studio at Westside Cycling, we have just opened our second location in the Tech Center. Both locations offer a variety of classes, including our specialized power based cycling classes and functional strength classes. We also offer GROUP training for clubs and teams as TRX training (and so much more).
Cycling Boot Camp The program begins with a time trial to determine your individual power based training zones. This allows your instructor to give you specific workload targets for each interval of your workout. Instead of using perceived exertion or heart rate, you have specific power levels for each workout and a coach to adjust those targets for you as you progress and your fitness improves. Near the end of the program you can redo the testing to measure how much your fitness has improved through the program. Not only will we make you faster, we'll prove it to you.
Functional Threshold Testing New this year . . we are offering the opportunity for Field Testing on the computrainers. This will provide an opportunity for you to establish baseline heart rate and power training zones BEFORE starting the indoor training season. Bike Valet Service For those who prefer NOT to carry their bike back and forth, we now offer the ultimate in convenience. Store your bike on a monthly or daily basis. Limited spots available . . contact Jon or Kathy for more information.
FAST Lab offers the very BEST in Computrainer Multi-Rider Programs  P2P's FAST Lab at WestSide Cyclery
It's a great way to motivate yourself, train with others, and have fun too. We offer both coach-led workouts on weekday evenings or OPEN ride sessions. Up to 12 riders at a time ride the same course or workout and challenge one another. During the winter months, when the road conditions and darkness force you indoors you can still finish that long ride on your training plan! Two-person groups can utilize the multi-rider display features during the ride to keep an eye on their spin cycle power performance to train to achieve a even power distribution over the full pedal spin circle. Our power based cycling program is an innovative cycling program bringing together our state-of-the-art assessment services with instructor led, power based classes to ensure each athlete is getting the biggest benefit from each and every workout. These sessions are done on your bike so that you are riding in your position and we use current sport science principals to design workouts with proper work and recovery ratios so that your fitness improves as quickly as possible.
Beginning each year in October and running through March, we offer a variety of coach led computrainer sessions on weekday evenings. All classes are 60-90 minutes and include:
-USA Cycling licensed coaching staff trained to keep you on track
-Workouts are power based to eliminate guesswork
-Weekend sessions are power based indoor group rides with virtual rides all over the world
-Small class size to ensure instructors can provide the proper support and guidance
-You ride your own bike - that way your training is specific to your position on your bike
-Technique work to improve cadence and smooth out your pedal stroke for increased efficiency.
-Education on wattage, nutrition and goal setting
-Great people and great FUN!

- Look for the class or training session you are interested in doing on the calendar and then determine if you would like to purchase a single class or class package.
- After choosing your registration option & left clicking that option, you will then be given the opportunity to purchase that session or multi-session package with Visa or Mastercard.
- No refunds are allowed for coach-led classes. If you miss a class, we will allow make-ups during another coach-led class IF space is available.
- Open ride time and weekend sessions may be canceled throught the registration system up to 8hrs before the start of the ride.

Personal Training Looking to rev-up your functional strength & conditioning program? Or just need some guidance for your off-season program? Personal Training Sessions for individuals or small groups are available. Sessions may be purchased as individual sessions or in blocks of 3-10 sessions. Testing Center Peak to Peak Training Systems offers resting metabolic rate (RMR) measurement, lactate threshold testing, heart rate & power zone assessment, Spin-Scan pedal stroke analysis, and electromyography evaluations for determining more complicated pedaling efficiency or pain related issues during riding.
