Chris is a new coach in 2009 and brings youthful exuberance and an international flavor to Peak To Peak Training Systems. Hailing from Australia, Chris has extensive international experience racing cross country mountain bikes at an elite level, including competing in the 2007 MTB Tour de France, Junior World Championships and earning Australian Championships medals.

Chris is currently focusing on the road, racing both locally and nationally for Team RMCEFracing. 

Combined with a degree in Physical Education, plus both USA and Australian coaching qualifications, he enjoys working with athletes of all levels with the aim to improve individual performance and overall enjoyment of the sport of cycling.   Email contact is welcome at Chris@peaktopeaktraining.com

 

Tucker Olander: USAC Club Level 3

Tucker Olander, merely 21 years of age, has already experienced much in the cycling world. Over the past 8 years, he has transitioned strong through the ranks, having raced several Junior World Cups in Europe and has seen what it takes to make the most of one’s ability. With this experience and a positive attitude towards his athletes and their success , he is perfectly suited in coaching new riders and up and coming juniors. Tucker is also currently working towards his Health and Exercise Sciences degree from Colorado State University.

Jon Heidemann – Co-Founder and Director of Athlete Development

As the Director of the RMCEF, Jon will be the junior athletes main source of guidance and direction for their training and competition at races. Jon’s coaching experience is deeply rooted in his own elite and professional cycling competition in regional, national and international races. Add to that his Bachelors degree in Health Sciences from the University of Wyoming, an Elite Cycling Coach certification from USA Cycling and over 20 years of coaching experience and it is no wonder that he has led numerous athletes to medal in state, national and international championships. Jon’s passion for cycling and the lessons it can teach about success in life will no doubt help our junior athletes along the road to their future endeavors. As co-founder of the RMCEF, Jon’s role will be multi-dimensional. Developing the athletic and competitive skills of his athletes will only be one aspect of Jon’s responsibilities as he will also coordinate training camps, training and racing schedules, travel and serve as a liaison between parents and all the programs offered. You will see Jon at practically every event that the RMCEF is present.

Michael Gibson – Sponsorship Coordinator
Michael, owner of MOB Cyclery, has been in the bicycle industry since owning his first shop in 1991. He has consistently been involved in racing since he began as a junior in 1986 and is currently a cat 1 racer having raced for several elite teams throughout the nation. His extensive technical knowledge is backed by 12 years in the industry as a shop owner and mechanic, and as inside sales rep and fitness product developer for Schwinn Cycling & Fitness in Boulder, CO. MOB Cyclery is staffed with a helpful, knowledgeable staff with extensive mechanical experience and product knowledge. Specializing in the road market, MOB offers custom builds and detailed fits with use of Serotta Fit Cycle and Fit Kit Systems. These specialized fitting systems and Michael’s technical knowledge will be key for the developing young cyclist.
