Cycling Team Programs
Under- 26 Westside Elite Development Team>  2004 Espoir Alum Sheldon Deeny
This is a Pro/1/2 team. There is a high emphasis on race preparation and racing. Athletes will have a full-time coach, director and captain providing daily individualized training programs for those members in need and race day strategy. This program is designed to fill the void that exists when a promising junior or young adult athlete enters the senior expert & elite ranks. This program allows for each athlete to continually grow as a cyclist and not be swallowed up in a club team atmosphere.
Under-23 Team Race Kit Includes:
2 short-sleeve jerseys, 2 pairs of shorts, 1 skinsuit, 1 jacket, 1 pair of arm-warmers
1 pair of knee-warmers, 1 pair of shoes, 1 official team polo
Team racing bike for Cat 1 licensed members
Team will pay travel and lodging to select national level events
Winter, Spring, and Pre-Nationals Training Camps
Winter team rides beginning in January – March
Individual training programs available January – August
Comp Team > Tuition: $1550/season
Comp team is a racing team with an emphasis on race preparation and racing. This program will allow athletes an opportunity to race against the best juniors and seniors in the country. Athletes will have a full-time coach providing race day strategy, monthly individual training programs and mentoring. Training programs are individual to each athlete; based on goals, strengths, weaknesses, and life schedules.

Comp Team Race Kit Includes:

Development (Devo) Team > Tuition: $885/season
Devo team is designed for a more advanced bike racer, but not ready for the commitment of the Comp Team. You will have a full season race schedule and a coach at every team event. Training programs are not individualized, but rather designed specifically for the Devo team, based on the team’s race schedule. Pre-Jr. Nationals Training Camp
Monthly training program April – August
Bi-weekly team rides beginning mid-May ending end August
Prep Team > Tuition: $575/season
A fun youthful program, this group is limited to 11-14 year olds. Athletes learn the basics of bicycle racing and riding. Tuition includes a loosely structured training program from April – August. There will be monthly team rides. These team rides will consist of bike handling skills, drills, and will be “Prep Team Only.”  2006 Prep riders Brady Barker(l) & John Noonan(r)

Purchase/Lease option for team frame & fork – optional

Additional options available to all team members
Upgrade to personalized training program (Devo & Prep) $150/month
Cyclocross Training Add-on: September – December $300, includes coaching at races
Winter Training Add-on
- U-26/Comp: October – February; $100/month
- Development: January – March; $250 (includes all 3 months)
- Prep: not available
One-time additional clothing order – TBD
Bike Frame Purchase/ Lease program:
- Purchase at beginning of season – $400
- Lease per season – $250 for steel, $300 for aluminum/year
*When leasing, team riders would return the frames at the end of September.
*If out grown during season, framesets are replaced with appropriate size at no additional cost)
