Peak to Peak Training Systems prides itself in offering custom built training plans designed specifically for your personal goals.  Each training plan is developed around the athlete's strengths, weaknesses and lifestyle.  
The overall plan and daily workout schedules are completely customized to fit each athete individually.  Program scheduling and athlete feedback are provide in a web-based format using the Training Peaks platform. 
In addition to a training program, we offer UNLIMITED  phone and e-mail access to our coaches and prefer to meet in person when possible.

Online" training & coaching? By training online you and your coach will have access to your training 24 hours a day. This will allow your coach to customize your schedule and monitor your progress with heart rate monitors or power meter data in conjunction with daily training logs. 
We emphasis that although the technology is cool, web based tools can not replace an experienced professional coach.
We focus on communication, whether by email, phone or face-to-face meeting. 
These are critical components to the experience and relationship between coach and athlete.

Our professional coaching staff has extensive knowledge and experience of cycling, nutrition, personal training, sports physiology, and strategy for both able & disabled bodied athletes. In addition we frequently consult with health care professionals familiar with cycling and multi-sport issues such as MD's, physical therapists and sports psychologists.

    Road, Mountain Bike, Cyclo-Cross & Multi-Sport Coaching 
  • Professional Staff (Jon or Kathy) $250.00 per month with $135.00 Initiation. Our professional staff coaches are the same coaches who manage our Pro athletes and Masters Nationals Champions. Both are USAC Elite or Level One Certified with both national and international experience. This is your opportunity to be coached by the top coaches in America. Our Professional Coaches have demonstrated through the years that they have the ability to get the most out of their athletes.  Your program will be developed and monitored by the coach of your choice; training will be modified as needed. As a Peak to Peak athlete you can expect to get the same personal attention that our Champions receive.

Club Staff $150.00 or Expert Staff $175 per month with $135.00 Initiation.  Our professional staff performance team guide our Club & Expert  staff coaches. All are USAC Level 2 or Level 3 Certified with both national and international elite competitive experience. Your program will be developed and monitored by the coach of your choice; training will be modified as needed.

With every monthly training proram there is an initial commitment.  your program is automatically renewed unless you provide a termination request in writing.

    In addition to our custom coaching, we also offer the following coaching options:

  • Training Plan Overview with a professional coach. If you need help getting started and you want to design your own daily training schedule this is a good option.  We will assist in laying out your yearly plan including how many hours to train, and what type of training should you be doing to prepare for you target events or races. With your Annual Training Plan and 3-month overview, you can design your own day-to-day training scehule or if you decide that you want the  convenience of having your training planned you may switch to One on One coaching  at any time. Program includes a review of past training programs, race results and incorporating strengths and weaknesses into your goals. Cost for 3-month overview: $300 
  • Coached Ride or Training Session: $125.00 for up to 2 hours of ride time, then $50 for each additional hour.

 


Discipline based strategy consultation with a professional coach: $100/hour + travel expenses

 

  • Review past racing results, strategy and tactics
  • Discuss current tactics and suggested improvements
  • Available to individuals or groups, at race site or in class-room setting

 

One-on-one Personal Training: $65.00/hour (discounts for packages)

 

  • Sessions available at our FAST Lab studio in Centennial

  • Individual or group sessions are possible.

 


  • Group Training: Fee based on size of group, location and focus. For multi-sport clubs, corporate wellness and cycling teams.
  • Handling Skills Clinics: group riding skills, cornering, defensive riding & control issues are covered during our 4~6 hour clinics. 
  • Multi-day training camps: offered with any realistic goal in mind. Whether corporate wellness and team building, fitness oriented, cycling tour preparation, or professional team training, we can provide a wealth of options for 3 to 7 day camps.
  • Strategy Consultations: designed for inidividuals and groups, covering individual, competitor & team dynamics, tactics, and course profile issues.

 

 


Jon Heidemann: USAC Elite / Level 1 Coach, B.A. in Health Sciences, Director of Peak to Peak Training Systems, Current Team Director FAST Labs Cycling Team

Jon Heidemann has been coaching cyclists since the late 80’s. After graduating with a Bachelor degree in Health Sciences from the University of Wyoming, he continued his steady competitive climb to Elite status racing in Europe, Central and South America, all the while maintaining a separate full time job. The experience he has gained from world wide competition has given him a background that only a few of the best cycling coaches share. He knows what you need to do to be competitive in a race and how to prepare for that, even with the responsibility of managing a career and family. Jon won his own National Road Championship in the Masters 30~34 age group in 2001. As an Elite-Level 1 Certified Cycling Coach with USA Cycling, he has guided athletes of all ages, genders and physical abilities earning numerous national and international medals, including a Paralympic Gold at the 2000 Sydney Games and a Disabled Worlds bronze medal. His most notable athletes include Nationally ranked road cyclists Jason Donald (Garmin-Chipotle), Jonathan Garcia (BMC Racing) & Clayton Barrows (Rite-Aid Professional Cycling), Sharon Allpress (Team ValueAct Capital), 3-time US Junior National Road Champion Daniel Summerhill.. Kathy Zawadzki: USA Cycling Elite / Level 1 Coach, Masters degree in Exercise Science. Licensed Sports Nutritionist (NASN), ACSM Health and Fitness Specialist

Kathy's coaching experience began over twenty years ago and encompasses all levels of cyclists, including juniors, masters and Olympic athletes. Her expertise in sports science brought her to the US Olympic Training Center where she worked with USA Cycling and USA Triathlon to develop Olympic athletes. Most recently Kathy has coached a few riders to Masters National Championships as well as working with National Champions  and Paralympic World Champions in the past. In addition to coaching individual cyclists and triathletes, her coaching experience covers regional, national and international team competitions, including Head Cycling Coach for 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney and the 2003 Tour of Hope. Ashley Anderson, M.A. Sport and Performance Psychology Mental Training Coach, USA Track and Field Level 1 Coach

Ashley Anderson is Peak to Peak Training Systems mental training specialist.   She is particularly interested in coaching and performance enhancement through mental skills training. Her goal as a coach is to instill a desire in each athlete to strive to reach their personal and performance goals through preparation, dedication, and for the love of their sport. 

Ashley has an athletic background in distance running. She ran Division I cross country and track for Central Michigan University. Ashley continues to run competitively, with a long term goal of the 2012 women’s Olympic Marathon Trials.
