Functional Movement Screening: $100

The Functional Movement Screen(FMS) is  used to evaluate the quality of movement patterns for athletes to demonstrate limitations or asymmetries with respect to basic movement patterns. The results of this screen can expose indications of disrupted muscle coordination, flexibility and strength - all of which will help the athlete understand limitations in his/her athletic performance with regard to the physical movements required to pedal or run efficiently. If warranted, these results can help the athlete & coach develop a program to effectively address these performance limitations both during and between seasons.  Occasionally, a FMS may lead to a electromygraphy evaluation (EMG - see below). If this occurs, we will deduct $25 off the following EMG  evaluation.

CompuTrainer Spin-Scan Analysis: $75

  • For individuals interested in determining the quality of their pedal stroke through better pedalling mechanics.
  • Helps to determine deficiency's in bike position, musculature, coordination & balance between right & left

Electromyography~Spin-Scan: $250
  • For individuals interested in improving the efficiency of their pedalling stroke through better pedalling mechanics.  Precisely identifies specific muscle strength, left/right balance & coordination throughout the pedal stroke at varying resistance levels, positions and intensity's. This will help to identify any specific issues that inhibit power output, comfort and efficiency with the goal being to correct the issues at the muscular level through activities such as physical therapy, massage, stretching, yoga, relaxation, and/or acupuncture.
