D2 offers 6 custom models to choose from: Super Crit (road), Mtn. Ascent (mtb shoe), Fang (cx), Rando (randonee), Track and Tri.

We feel the benefits of D2 cusome are awesome comfort and more POWER to the pedal - through 360 degrees of rotation.  Getting a cool custom look is a bonus!

CUSTOM can mean anything from simply custom colors to making shoes to the exact dimensions of your feet and more. This is why D2 includes a custom orthodic in your shoes . . each foot is measured independently to account for the  many variations between right and left.

Custom Cycling Shoes: All Models $975
ALL D2 shoes include a full foot custom orthodic with the best fitting last for each of your feet based on the Fit Kit.  We will select the best fitting last for each of your feet then apply  modifications to the lasts. We can fit bunions, bone spurs or an unusual toe line.

For very unusual feet like NBA 7-footers, little people, frostbite amputations, etc. a cusome shoe last would be made to the exact dimensions of your feet. Some pattern modification may be needed. Not many people need this; but if you do we can handle it. There is a $400 fee for custom lasts.

No matter what Custom means to you; D2 has you covered!

How to order:

Simply give us a call (303-913-3954) to set up a "D2 Sizing & Order" appointment with either Jon Heidemann or George Mullen.  This appointment takes about 1 hour to take information, measurements, set foam molds of your feet and design your shoes. Bring your current road shoes & a pair of workout shorts.  After all measurements are taken, molds are set, and order form is filled out, we ship them to D2.  Upon receipt of order & molds at D2, a representative will call you to review your order prior to production.  This ensures all information is not overlooked & gives you the opportunity to clarify further questions that might deveolope AFTER your order was placed.

The typical time-line for order~production~receipt of shoes is about 14~17 days.  Unless otherwise requested, your shoes will be shipped directly to your address.

Once you recieve your shoes, we encourage you to give us a call for help with mounting your cleat hardware to your shoe soles.  Regardless of how many cleats you may have mounted to your shoes over the years, we suggest that you come in for us to get correct placement of the cleat on the shoe.  This is also a prime opportunity for us to ensure that your shoes fit correctly.  These shoes will wear, break in, fit and function like no other shoe you have ever worn, so its good to have some heads up on what to expect during the break in period.
